PRODUCTS AND RAW MATERIALS
Filters' shape, design, size and condition of use are important elements to know in order to select the right kind of fabrics for filters manufactoring.
Every process of filtration is performed in a specific environment and under specific conditions of temperature, humidity, presence of chemicals agents and mechanical strength.
We offer exactly what suits your application.
For all fabrics, a technical data sheet or a certificate can be given.
Ceccan filters are used in a wide array of industries: Pharmaceutical, Food, Steel mills and foundries, and other sectors.
Besides the use of synthetic materials and natural "standard" are used with other materials specific treatments to improve the performaces of the filter element.

MEZZI FILTRANTI ANTISTATICI
The creation of static electricity on textile filters, besides leading to serious risks to trigger an explosion or fire in some cases, can lead to a negative impact on the performance of certain processes, especially where the dust by their nature, are already charged or may became charged by rubbing.
The electrostatic charges can accumulate and in proper conditions, potential can rise up to thousands of volts.
The factors that influence the phenomenon are generally:
- Low values of relative humidity in the environment
- High temperatures
- High speed 'interaction
- Small size of the particles in motion
The effects of electrostatic charges are mainly the difficulty of the detachment of the dust from the filter medium and the possibility of discharges with electrical arcing and ignition of explosions or fire in the presence of flammable or explosive mixtures of powders.
In order to give good antistatic properties to a filter medium should be reduced in a homogeneous way its insulating power.
A serious answer to the problem is given through the preparation of needle felts or fabrics with a special intimate mixture between the synthetics and other conductive fibers.
MEMBRANA TETRATEX
Tetratex membranes are produced from resin polymer of 100% PTFE. They are chemically inert and thermally stable up to 325°C. The filtration membranes are constituted by an average of over 100.000 pores per cm2. The membranes are thermally bonded on a range of media that include woven materials, non-woven fabrics and felts.
These high-performance laminates allow dust cake release, low pressure drop, increased airflow and high efficiency.
Tetratex is a filtration membrane surface. Acts as a primary dust cake requiring no dust cake to act as a filter aid before or during the operation.
Tetratex helps in maintaining the integrity of the support by inhibiting the penetration of dust particles and limiting the formation of the surface panel and retaining a great flow of air and a loss of load is stable.
This filter media greatly improves the performance of conventional filter materials that rely on the formation of a panel filter surface to capture fine dust particles and that can allow the migration of dust through the filter medium thus creating high emission values and increasing loss of load.
The recommended solution depends on the type of problem to be solved and the environment in which the application operates, but there is no doubt that for applications that use filter media in tissue, the best available control technology for capturing fine particulates and complex is recognized to be that of PTFE membranes.
NOMEX
Presents an amazing resistance to flame and high temperatures. Does not melt, drip nor sustain combustion air. Applications: steel, metallurgy, foundries and steel mills.
